The Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-322 of 31 October 2025, “On Additional Measures to Ensure a Stable Supply of Food Products to the Population,” is contributing to the development of the poultry sector and enhancing the country's capacity to provide the population with high-quality food products.
According to the Resolution:
- the national poultry population is planned to reach 140 million birds within the next three years;
- poultry producers will receive compensation for part of the interest expenses on loans obtained for the purchase of feed, feed additives, and pedigree day-old chicks;
- during 2026–2030, subsidies will be provided for the purchase of locally produced pedigree meat-type day-old chicks.
During the training seminar, particular attention was paid to introducing a model system of pedigree duck farming in households across the country's regions, based on the experience of UT AGRO FIA, located in Akkurgan District of Tashkent Region, with the participation of an investor from the Republic of Tatarstan. The seminar also focused on promoting family entrepreneurship, increasing the economic benefits for households, and ensuring the supply of high-quality food products to the population.
