✅ In agriculture, achieving high livestock productivity largely depends on balanced feeding practices and the creation of a strong feed base.
✅ In 2026, fodder crops were planted on a total of 477.7 thousand hectares in the republic’s farms, including:
🌱 122.3 thousand ha — alfalfa
🌱 13 thousand ha — fodder beet
🌱 16.3 thousand ha — sorghum
🌱 123.4 thousand ha — corn for silage
🌱 58.8 thousand ha — grain corn
🌱 113.2 thousand ha — grain crops for livestock feed
✅ Sowing activities are continuing consistently.
⚡️ In order to efficiently utilize areas freed after grain harvesting:
⭐ Repeated fodder crops are planned on 223.7 thousand hectares
💙 Autumn intermediate fodder crops are planned on 81.7 thousand hectares
💧 As part of introducing efficient and low-cost feed production technologies in livestock farming, hydroponic feed production has been launched at 14 livestock enterprises.
🌿 To develop fodder crop seed production, seed cultivation activities are being carried out on a total area of 2.5 thousand hectares.
🚜 In addition, during the first quarter of the current year, livestock farms and agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions:
