Tourism potential of Uzbekistan was widely showcased by the Tourism Committee at the international tourism exhibition “Halal Kulture” held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Visitors to Uzbekistan’s national stand had the opportunity to learn about the country’s tourism potential — in particular, the growing opportunities for pilgrimage tourism, as well as modern projects aimed at developing hotel and tourism infrastructure.
As part of the international exhibition, which brought together representatives from more than 80 travel companies, over 20 memorandums of cooperation were signed between leading tourism industry representatives of Uzbekistan and East Asian countries.
Guests of the exhibition also enjoyed a rich cultural program featuring samples of Uzbek national art and traditional folk performances, offering a glimpse into the country’s vibrant cultural heritage.
