Training sessions to improve the culture of service for foreign tourists

As part of the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Action Plan for introducing the “Tourist Friendly” system, approved by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to enhance the role and significance of tourism in the economy by substantially increasing the flow of tourists and rapidly expanding the volume of tourism services in 2025-2026”, the Tourism Committee and the Scientific Research Institute for Tourism Development organized a series of training sessions at the Customs Committee and the Tashkent International Airport.

The training sessions were conducted on October 23–24 in both theoretical and practical formats. Practical, offline sessions were held at the Tashkent International Airport, while online sessions were organized for employees of customs and border services at international airports in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers.
The purpose of the sessions was to improve the culture of service provided to foreign tourists and to develop skills in using electronic translation tools for communication from Uzbek into various Asian languages.
