As part of the filming, the show's team is visiting landmarks, tourist attractions, and historical sites in Samarkand and Tashkent to widely promote Uzbekistan’s culinary and tourism potential in Russia and to help increase the number of tourists from the country.
In each city along their route, the chefs get acquainted with local cuisine and traditional dishes, explore the variety of goods at local markets and shops. Inspired by the local gastronomic culture, the Russian chefs then create their own culinary masterpieces.
During the trip, the creative team also visited the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, where they took an exhilarating hot air balloon ride. From a bird’s-eye view, the participants enjoyed breathtaking landscapes, unique nature, and stunning views of the mountain ranges—once again reaffirming the beauty and diversity of Uzbekistan's landscapes.
At the end of each episode, the famous Russian chefs engage in a true culinary battle. They park their food truck near iconic landmarks in Samarkand and Tashkent, prepare their own interpretations of local dishes, and invite residents to taste, vote, and choose the winner.
It’s worth noting that “Chefs on Wheels” is highly popular among Russian audiences. The total viewership across federal and regional media exceeds 18 million people.
