Students of Urgench State University, taking part in the “Young guides school” program—organized to increase students’ interest in tourism, develop practical guiding skills, enhance their professional qualifications, and ensure meaningful summer activities—completed a hands-on internship as part of the program by accompanying international guests at the “Melon Festival.”
The students not only provided translation services but also effectively guided the foreign guests throughout the festival, acting as on-site tour guides and introducing them to our cultural heritage.
The “Young guides school” contributes not only to the professional growth of its participants but also to increasing youth social engagement and training qualified personnel to promote our national culture.
