The visit was organized jointly by the State Committee for Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the main goal of introducing the Korean audience to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, rich cultural heritage, and modern infrastructure.
The team first traveled to the Parkent district. Guests were introduced to the "Family Resort" guest house, as well as new tourism projects planned on the "Oltin bel" hill, located in the Kumushkon mahalla — including eco-friendly hotels, resort areas, and other infrastructure facilities.
The group also took part in the official opening ceremony of the "Chashma" ethno-tourism village. The guests became acquainted with national traditions, folk art, local products, and unique tourism offerings, and were deeply impressed by the hospitality of our country.
As part of their visit, the creative team also traveled to the Bostanlyk district and visited the Amirsoy ski resort, where they explored recreational areas surrounded by pristine nature and the facilities available for tourists.
A 150-page publication based on the visit is planned for wide distribution in South Korea — including in “Kyobo Book” stores, on online marketplaces, as well as in hotels and airlines.
This visit to the Tashkent region will contribute to promoting the region’s tourism potential at the international level.
