By the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further acceleration of reforms and the effective organization of the public administration system in the field of tourism,” it is established that, starting from January 1, 2024, part of the expenses incurred by tour operators and airlines on charter flights from foreign countries to the international airports of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench will be reimbursed in the amount of USD 20 per foreign tourist, and during the winter period (from November 20 to February 20) — in the amount of USD 50, provided that the tourist stays in the republic for at least five nights.

In accordance with this initiative, implemented with the aim of increasing the flow of foreign tourists to our country, special attention is given to stimulating the activities of tour operators who actively attract tourists from countries with limited air connections.

Appendix 6 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 433 of July 10, 2020, approved the Regulation “On the procedure for allocating funds to compensate expenses for organizing charter flights from foreign countries to the international airports of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench,” and based on this Regulation, we call on tourism entrepreneurs to take full advantage of this subsidy.

Currently, applications for subsidies to compensate for expenses on organizing charter flights continue to be accepted.
