The UK discovers Uzbekistan through the «Uzbek Caravan»

As part of the cultural and gastronomic tour «Uzbekistan Caravan», which runs from 5 to 17 June in six major cities of the UK, the caravan visited Liverpool. Residents and visitors of the city had the opportunity to get to know the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan, as well as learn about the country’s tourism opportunities. Particular attention was drawn to the tasting of the traditional Uzbek dish – plov, which was offered to all comers.
This tour is designed to increase the interest of the British audience in Uzbekistan as a promising tourist destination, expand cultural ties and demonstrate the country’s hospitality. The organizers aim to showcase that Uzbekistan offers a unique blend of history, nature, and national cuisine that can appeal to a wide variety of travelers.
"Uzbek Caravan" will be a prologue to the large-scale festival "Uzbek Culture and National Cuisine", which will take place on June 21-22 on Tower Bridge in London - one of the most recognizable and visited tourist sites in the capital of Great Britain.
