Uzbekistan successfully holds a series of events in China

The Tourism Committee, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, continues to hold a series of large-scale events aimed at promoting tourism potential within the framework of the Year of Tourism of our country. Thus, on April 29 in the city of Chengdu, and on April 30 in the city of Chongqing, presentations of tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan were organized.
The events aroused wide interest among representatives of the tourism industry of China. More than 200 delegates took part in the roadshow in two cities — representatives of leading travel companies, hotel chains, transport companies, investment structures, as well as experts in the field of tourism.
During the roadshow, more than 20 agreements on cooperation on receiving Chinese tourists to Uzbekistan were signed between travel companies of the two countries.
Particular attention during the visit was paid to the development of business and educational tourism. In this context, a meeting was held with representatives of the China Chamber of Tourism, where prospects for expanding cooperation in these areas were discussed.
