Uzbekistan–Türkiye tourism forum held in Istanbul: tour operator partnerships and a presentation of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential

The forum was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye. It showcased Uzbekistan's rich historical and cultural heritage, its potential for pilgrimage tourism, its modern tourism infrastructure, and new travel destinations. Participants discussed how to increase the flow of tourists from Türkiye to Uzbekistan, develop new tourism products, and expand tourism exchanges between the two countries.
B2B meetings were held between Uzbek and Turkish tour operators as part of the event. They held talks on developing joint tour packages, launching new travel programs, and strengthening business ties.
Representatives of Türkiye's leading media outlets and online publications were also briefed on the reforms under way in Uzbekistan's tourism sector, as well as on new opportunities and travel destinations in the country. The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation on giving Uzbekistan's tourism potential wide coverage in the Turkish media.
The forum ended with practical agreements between tourism companies of the two countries. These agreements aim to develop cooperation, create joint tourism products and increase the flow of Turkish tourists to Uzbekistan. The sides also set priority areas for cooperation on promoting Uzbekistan's tourism potential through the Turkish media.
