Participants were provided with information on the opportunities being created in the tourism sector, existing incentives and preferences, and new standards introduced for accommodation facilities. Discussions also covered ways to improve service quality and develop new tourist routes.

In Nukus, issues related to launching new air routes and introducing general aviation services were discussed jointly with representatives of Uzbekistan Airways. During an individual reception held in Tashkent, entrepreneurs’ requests were addressed positively.

In addition, projects for the construction of new hotels and the development of ecotourism in Kashkadarya, Syrdarya, Fergana and Khorezm regions were reviewed on site. Following these visits, recommendations were provided to ensure that the projects are launched within the established timeframes.

Practical measures to address the issues raised by entrepreneurs and the requests received were identified in cooperation with the relevant organisations.
