During the meetings, presentations were delivered to entrepreneurs on ensuring the quality of certification procedures and inspection processes. Participants received explanations of amendments to existing standards, updates to certification procedures, and the main areas of the Centre’s activities.
The discussions also covered ways to attract international hotel brands to Uzbekistan, increase the number of star-rated hotels and improve the quality of their services. Entrepreneurs were also informed about the extension of the validity periods of the incentives available to them.
During the question-and-answer sessions, hotel industry representatives discussed in detail issues related to subsidies, the practical implementation of incentives announced by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the sixth open dialogue, and access to credit. The meetings also provided an opportunity to identify and examine current challenges facing the industry.
