Number of tourists visiting Uzbekistan exceeds 10 million in nine months

In January–September 2026, 10.3 million foreign tourists visited the Republic of Uzbekistan. This represents a 20.4 percent increase compared with the same period last year.
In September alone, 1.2 million tourists visited the country. The highest growth in tourist arrivals was recorded from China, with arrivals increasing 2.1 times, followed by Malaysia — 1.9 times; Egypt and Romania — 1.8 times; Indonesia — 1.7 times; Japan — 1.5 times; the United States — 1.4 times; and Russia — 1.3 times.
In addition, the number of tourists from Germany and the United Kingdom increased by 25 percent, from France by 21 percent, and from Türkiye by 15 percent.
During the period under review, exports of tourism services reached US$5.3 billion, representing a 51.2 percent increase compared with the same period in 2025.
