Equestrian competitions dedicated to the memory of Amir Timur to be held in Kashkadarya Region

As part of the event, tourists will have an opportunity to watch traditional Uzbek equestrian games, learn more about the unique Qorabayir horse breed, and visit historical and natural attractions in the homeland of Amir Timur.
The event aims to promote Uzbekistan’s national heritage through ethnotourism and preserve the Uzbek Qorabayir horse breed. The programme will feature team uloq-kopkari competitions among riders, as well as olomon ulov horse races, where the fastest horses and most skilled riders will be identified. The “Horses of Uzbekistan” exhibition will showcase purebred and unique Qorabayir horses.
A special information tour will also be organised for media representatives and tour operators. As part of the tour, a new travel package, “Journey to the Homeland of Amir Timur”, will be presented, allowing participants to explore the new tourism route firsthand.
