According to the document, these benefits are available to hotels and other accommodation facilities operating in the regions, as well as newly established facilities.
Lending Terms
Hotel construction: up to UZS 50 billion;
Hotel reconstruction and equipment: up to UZS 20 billion;
Loan term: up to 10 years (120 months);
Grace period: 2 years;
Loans are provided by commercial banks.
Interest Expense Compensation
Interest expenses on loans exceeding 16% per annum in national currency, as well as SOFR, EURIBOR or SHIBOR rates on foreign-currency loans, are compensated by JSC Entrepreneurship Development Company.
How to Apply
Information on the need for loan financing is collected through the regional tourism departments of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and the city of Tashkent and submitted to the Tourism Services Certification Center.
Hotel businesses wishing to submit information about their need for loan financing should contact the tourism department at the location of the facility or apply directly to the Tourism Services Certification Center.
