The event was attended by Abdulaziz Akkulov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Adiz Boboev, Governor of Samarkand Region; Muhammad Irfan Yusuf, Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Republic of Indonesia; the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan; investors; tourism industry representatives; and partner organizations.

The new hotel was built jointly with Indonesian investors and will expand modern accommodation options for local and international pilgrims visiting the Imam Bukhari Complex.

The four-story Hadith Hotel offers 120 rooms with a total capacity of 240 guests. The hotel has introduced a modern service system that combines international hospitality standards with national traditions of Uzbek hospitality and codes of conduct appropriate to the status of this sacred site.

As noted during the event, the Imam Bukhari Complex is now one of the most important pilgrimage destinations not only in Uzbekistan but throughout the Islamic world. At the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, the complex is being expanded and modern infrastructure is being developed. A grand mosque has also been built here, with a capacity of up to 10,000 worshippers at a time.

In particular, the growing number of pilgrims arriving from Indonesia is increasing the need for internationally recognized accommodation infrastructure in the area.

The opening of the new hotel will provide greater convenience for pilgrims while also contributing to the expansion of tourism services in the region, the creation of new jobs, and new opportunities for local entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans.

The launch of Hadith Hotel marks an important step toward further strengthening tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and Indonesia, particularly in making more effective use of the potential of pilgrimage tourism.
