Videos showcasing Uzbekistan’s tourism potential are now being displayed on a large 3D LED screen at the Solana shopping and entertainment center in Beijing. The project was implemented by the Committee for Tourism of Uzbekistan jointly with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China as part of the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence.

The videos introduce residents and visitors of the Chinese capital to Uzbekistan’s historic cities and attractions, cultural heritage, national traditions, and cuisine. They also provide information on the 30-day visa-free regime for Chinese citizens visiting Uzbekistan.
More than 100,000 people visit Solana every day, providing an opportunity to showcase Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities to a broad Chinese and international audience.
Such promotional screenings are aimed at raising awareness of Uzbekistan in the Chinese tourism market and attracting more travelers to the country. Similar tourism video campaigns are also planned in other cities across China.
