Regular air service launched on the Almaty–Urgench route

One of Kazakhstan’s largest airlines, FlyArystan, has operated its first flight on the Almaty–Urgench route. The new air service will not only strengthen transport links between the two countries but also create additional opportunities to increase the flow of international tourists to Khorezm.
Flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight duration is 2 hours and 35 minutes.
The inaugural flight brought representatives of 10 tourism companies from Kazakhstan to Khorezm. A three-day information tour has been organised for them, featuring B2B meetings and a workshop with the participation of local tour operators.
The guests will also explore Khorezm’s historical and cultural attractions in detail and familiarise themselves with the region’s tourism potential.
Such information tours contribute to further promoting Khorezm Region on Kazakhstan’s tourism market, establishing direct cooperation between tourism companies of the two countries, and increasing mutual tourist exchanges.
