Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the trip, the participants explored Surkhandarya’s historical and cultural heritage sites, ancient pilgrimage destinations, natural and ecotourism attractions, as well as the region’s tourism infrastructure. They were also provided with detailed information on existing tourist routes, available opportunities, and promising areas for tourism development in the region.

As part of the information tour, a meeting was also held between tour operators from Bukhara and Surkhandarya regions. The participants discussed the development of joint tour packages, mutual promotion of tourism products, and ways to increase tourist flows.

Following the meeting, proposals were put forward to launch new tourist routes, expand practical cooperation between the two regions, and increase the flow of tourists from Bukhara to Surkhandarya.

The info tour is expected to contribute to the mutual promotion of the regions’ tourism opportunities, strengthen cooperation between tour operators, and expand domestic tourism offerings.
