For railway services, up to four additional carriages will be attached to trains operating on the following routes: Tashkent – Khiva – Tashkent, Tashkent – Kungrad – Tashkent, Tashkent – Shavat – Tashkent, Tashkent – Termez – Tashkent and Tashkent – Sariosiyo – Tashkent.
In addition, extra high-speed electric train services will be operated on the Tashkent – Samarkand – Tashkent, Tashkent – Bukhara – Tashkent and Tashkent – Urgench – Tashkent routes. The additional services will begin two days before the holiday and operate regularly for two days after the holiday.
In the road transport sector, additional bus services will be arranged on all intercity routes. In particular, a reserve parking and boarding area for intercity buses will be designated near Tashkent’s Southern Railway Station. At least three days before the holiday, buses operating on the Tashkent – Samarkand – Bukhara – Urgench – Nukus routes will be stationed at this designated area.
Additional travel opportunities to tourist destinations will also be provided by air. Additional flights will be operated on the Tashkent – Urgench, Tashkent – Nukus, Tashkent – Bukhara and Tashkent – Termez routes starting at least two days before the holiday.
These measures will help increase domestic travel across the regions during the holidays, further develop domestic tourism and create even more comfortable conditions for visiting Uzbekistan’s historical, cultural and natural attractions.
