The first phase of the “Sangardak” tourism complex has been commissioned

A total of 152 projects worth US$76 million are planned within the Sangardak Tourism Center. As part of the first phase, 37 facilities have already been commissioned, including guest houses, bungalows and chalets, restaurants, ayvans, a zipline, swings and other tourism service facilities.
In addition, Austrian company Doppelmayr Seilbahnen GmbH has constructed a modern 1,535-meter-long cable car, which is already operating for visitors. The project is expected to accommodate up to 800,000 tourists annually.
As part of the project, 14 km of drinking water networks, 4.2 km of sewerage networks and 3.2 km of electricity networks have been laid across the complex. Three water reservoirs and eight transformer substations have also been built. In addition, 4 km of roads have been paved, along with the necessary road infrastructure.
