The new flights are expected to increase tourist flows between Uzbekistan and India and provide tourists from major cities in southern India with greater opportunities to visit Tashkent.
Flights on the Tashkent–Hyderabad route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Hyderabad is a major metropolis in southern India, the capital of Telangana state and one of the country’s key technology hubs. With a population of more than 10 million, the city is known as the “City of Pearls” and the “Silicon Valley of India.” Its ancient Islamic architecture is harmoniously combined with the headquarters and offices of leading global IT companies.
The launch of direct air connectivity is expected to further boost tourism exchanges between the two countries, strengthen business ties and promote cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
