During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of extreme and adventure tourism in the country, the creation of new tourism products in this area, and the effective use of existing potential.
It was noted that parachute jumping activities are currently organised at the Syrdarya Markaziy airfield, located in the Syrdarya District. Favourable climatic conditions, an extended flying season, and the existing infrastructure provide a solid foundation for positioning Uzbekistan as a promising destination for adventure and extreme tourism.
Particular attention was given to promoting skydiving experiences among both international and domestic tourists, as well as enhancing the tourism appeal of Uzbekistan's regions through the organisation of international parachuting competitions and festivals.
The parties also agreed that the Federation would prepare a package of proposals aimed at improving the regulatory framework and implementing new initiatives to support the further development of adventure and extreme tourism in Uzbekistan.
