Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current implementation of the Action Plan (Roadmap) aimed at increasing bilateral tourist flows between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in the tourism sector, increasing mutual tourist exchanges, promoting the tourism potential of both countries, and implementing joint tourism projects.

A separate focus of the discussions was improving transport connectivity between the two countries. In particular, the parties explored the prospects for launching new direct flights, especially on the Riyadh–Tashkent route. The new air connection is expected to significantly enhance both tourism and business mobility while creating additional opportunities for the development of pilgrimage, cultural, and business tourism.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening their partnership and continuing practical cooperation in implementing the agreed initiatives aimed at increasing tourist exchanges between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
