According to the latest data, more than 6.56 million international tourists visited Uzbekistan during the first six months of 2026, representing an increase of nearly 25 percent compared to the same period last year. In June alone, the country welcomed more than 1.2 million foreign visitors, demonstrating the sustained interest in Uzbekistan's tourism opportunities even during the summer months.
One of the country's leading summer tourism destinations is the Tashkent Region. The Charvak and Bostanlyk recreation areas remain especially popular among visitors. The region is home to renowned resorts and hotels such as Amirsoy Mountain Resort, Beldersoy Resort & SPA, Part of Destination by Hyatt, Archazor Mountain Resort & Spa, Layner Resort, Chorvoq Oromgohi, Bostonliq Resort, Pyramids Resort, Sky Village, Burchmulla Resort, all known for their swimming pools and high-quality services.
