During the assessment, specialists conducted a detailed analysis of Muynak District’s existing tourism potential, cultural heritage sites, opportunities for the development of ecotourism and pilgrimage tourism, as well as the current state of tourism infrastructure and the quality of services provided to visitors.
As part of the study, the region’s most significant tourist attractions were inspected, including the Muynak Museum of Ecology, the Aral Sea History Museum, the Ship Cemetery, the Ustyurt Plateau, Lake Sudochye, the Saigachi area, Aktumsyk, and the Hakim-Ota shrine.
Based on the findings, a number of practical proposals were developed to further enhance the region’s tourism attractiveness, create modern and comfortable conditions for visitors, and develop new tourism products.
In addition, recommendations were prepared to integrate the region’s natural and historical attractions into unified tourism routes, promote ecotourism, adventure tourism, and pilgrimage tourism, expand investment opportunities for the implementation of new tourism projects, and further improve tourism service infrastructure.
