Gijduvan to host the “Gijduvan Ceramics and Culinary Arts” festival

As part of the festival, guests and tourists will have the opportunity to attend master classes by renowned artisans of the Gijduvan School of Ceramics and explore exhibitions of traditional crafts, including jewelry making, blacksmithing, artistic wood carving, carpet weaving, and embroidery. In addition, a handicraft fair will be held, where local artisans will present their unique original works.
A special highlight of the festival program will be an introduction to Gijduvan’s rich culinary heritage. Guests will enjoy a gastronomic celebration featuring presentations of 35 traditional national dishes, the “Coffee and Tea” festival, culinary demonstrations by masters of the craft, concert programs featuring folk ensembles, competitions in traditional sports, folk festivities, and various contests followed by an official award ceremony for the winners.
The festival aims to widely promote national crafts, gastronomic tourism, and Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, as well as to further showcase Gijduvan’s tourism potential among domestic and international visitors.
