Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

More than 2,300 finalists are expected to travel to Uzbekistan's capital. Including parents, teachers, and official delegations, the total number of international visitors is projected to exceed 4,000. Events of this scale will contribute to increased inbound tourism, support the development of the country's hospitality and tourism infrastructure, and further promote Uzbekistan as a modern destination for international congresses, forums, and educational events.

The events are organized by the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC), one of the world's leading international educational platforms bringing together talented students from across the globe. The program features competitions in mathematics, science, engineering, technology, and the arts, as well as the Young Achievers Leadership Academy (YALA), a leadership development program designed to foster teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Preparations for hosting the events are already underway. An official delegation from Uzbekistan, comprising representatives of the Tourism Committee, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Youth Affairs Agency, and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Singapore, is currently participating in SIMOC 2026 in Singapore. The purpose of the visit is to study international best practices in organizing large-scale educational events, exchange expertise with international partners, and address organizational matters to ensure the successful delivery of the finals in Tashkent.

Hosting the STEAM AHEAD Global Finals 2026 will mark another important milestone in strengthening Uzbekistan's international reputation as a reliable venue for world-class events. At the same time, thousands of international visitors will have the opportunity to discover the country's tourism potential, rich cultural and historical heritage, modern infrastructure, and the renowned hospitality of the Uzbek people.
