Having opened on May 24, this year’s festival delighted visitors for 50 days, celebrating the beauty of flowers and landscape art. According to preliminary figures, the event attracted more than 1.1 million international visitors and over 7.5 million domestic tourists.
In preparation for one of Uzbekistan’s largest annual tourism events, which draws thousands of visitors from both within the country and abroad, more than 150 million flowers were planted across Namangan. A highlight of the 65th International Flower Festival was its world-record achievement: within the Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Park of Culture and Recreation and the surrounding area, the organizing team planted approximately 30 million flower seedlings in just one month. This accomplishment earned Namangan a place in the Guinness World Records for the "Largest Number of Flowers Planted by a Team Within One Month."
Throughout the festival, visitors to Babur Park enjoyed original floral compositions, artistic installations, and decorative displays created from fresh flowers by participants from Uzbekistan and abroad.
The 65th International Flower Festival featured more than 100 cultural events, including concerts by internationally acclaimed and national performers, the large-scale Fashion Week 2026, international and national sporting competitions, scientific conferences and seminars, theatrical productions, circus performances for children and adults, international handicraft exhibitions, comedy evenings, gastronomy tourism events, the Lavender Festival, and spectacular drone shows.
During the closing ceremony, winners in various categories—including mahallas, enterprises and organizations, local government authorities, and floriculture specialists—were presented with cash prizes. The festival's Grand Prize consisted of modern passenger vehicles, which were ceremoniously awarded to the overall winners.
The festival concluded with a grand gala concert featuring distinguished artists from the Namangan Region and renowned performers, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that provided a memorable finale to this landmark anniversary celebration.
