Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee S. Tadjiyev, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, JSC “Uzbekistan Airways”, JSC “Uzbekistan Railways”, as well as heads and specialists of leading tourism companies such as “Avrud Travel”, “Novotours Silk Road”, “Asia Adventures”, “Sitara International Travel”, “Sezam Travel”, “Central Asia Tour Incoming Agency”, “Veres Vert”, “International Caravan Travel”, and “Orient Voyages”.

With entrepreneurs, existing industry challenges were discussed, practical experience was presented, and proposals and plans for further improving conditions for the development of inbound tourism were considered.

One of the key topics of the meeting was transport logistics: the development of domestic and international air routes, the improvement of railway services, as well as enhancing the quality of transport services for tourists were discussed in detail.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue consistent and constructive cooperation in order to implement the proposed initiatives and further develop the tourism sector.
