In particular, a special feature about Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, its unique attractions, and modern tourist destinations was broadcast on the Georgian Public Broadcasting network.
The feature presented Uzbekistan as one of the most promising destinations for cultural-educational, gastronomic, and event tourism. The promotional materials also described the country as one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations, highlighting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, its visa-free regime, as well as modern infrastructure solutions such as high-speed trains and new hotel projects.
For reference: During the meeting between Chairman of the Tourism Committee Abdulaziz Akkulov and Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster Tinatin Berdzenishvili, the parties discussed organizing familiarization tours across Uzbekistan for Georgian journalists, television production crews, and well-known bloggers. The parties also agreed to cooperate on the exchange of tourism-related video content, television projects, and programs, as well as on their mutual promotion through national television channels and digital platforms.
