During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in the Turkish market, attracting investment to the tourism sector, and expanding cooperation in the field of film production.

Particular attention was given to promoting Uzbekistan through leading Turkish media platforms. It was noted that increasing the country’s presence in Turkey’s information space would contribute to further growth in tourist arrivals, enhance recognition of Uzbekistan’s national tourism brand, and strengthen humanitarian ties between the two countries.

Another key topic of discussion was attracting Turkish investors to tourism and hospitality projects. The parties explored opportunities for developing new hotel and restaurant facilities, highlighting the significant potential created by Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms aimed at improving investment legislation, strengthening legal guarantees for investors, and introducing new business support mechanisms.

The prospects for cooperation in the film industry were also considered. In particular, the parties discussed opportunities to attract Turkish production companies and film crews to implement projects in Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the government support mechanisms being introduced for the film industry, including the Film Rebate program, create additional incentives for international filmmakers and contribute to promoting the country’s tourism potential in foreign markets.

Both sides expressed their interest in further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in the fields of tourism, investment, media, and creative industries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore joint projects aimed at promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, expanding investment cooperation, and strengthening partnerships between the business and media communities of the two countries.
