During the meeting, representatives of the tourism industry discussed a number of issues related to existing challenges and promising areas for the sector’s development. In particular, participants put forward proposals and comments regarding value-added tax (VAT) incentives for tour operators, the repair of roads leading to tourist attractions, the launch of additional railway services, and measures to reduce the impact of seasonality on tourism activities.
Representatives of the relevant government agencies provided detailed explanations on these matters based on current legislation and state standards.
Following the open dialogue, the appeals and proposals voiced by the entrepreneurs were forwarded to the relevant organizations for further review and the development of practical solutions. The necessary measures for their consideration and implementation were also identified.
