Under this approach, master plans will be developed for 34 major tourism sites, while 31 tourism facilities will be created and further developed.
In particular, the development project for the “Kipchak Fishing Village” tourism complex will be implemented in the Amudarya district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan based on the project management system.
Overall, in order to ensure the systematic development and operation of such tourism facilities based on individual master plans, the state institution “Project office for tourism infrastructure development” is being established under the Tourism Committee.
In addition, an extra 450 billion soums is being allocated for the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions. In total, 950 billion soums will be directed toward tourism infrastructure development this year.
