Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was officially opened by Ulugbek Kosimov, Khokim of the Surkhandarya region, and Abdulaziz Akkulov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee.

Together with officials and international guests, festival participants toured the pavilions representing various cities and districts, where examples of national handicrafts, traditional applied arts, and exhibits reflecting traditional lifestyles were showcased. These venues vividly present the country’s rich cultural heritage, ancient customs, and traditions.

Throughout the festival, the general public is introduced to the folklore arts, national values, and traditions of peoples from around the world. This contributes to strengthening cultural dialogue, mutual respect, and understanding among different nations.

“Boysun Bahori” serves not only as a platform for cultural exchange but also as an important international venue that fosters friendship among peoples.
