Bogizogon Mahalla Granted “Tourist Mahalla” Status

The Tourism Committee has officially and ceremonially granted the status of a “tourist mahalla” to Bogizogon mahalla in Taylak district of the Samarkand region
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee S. Bobokalonov, representatives of the regional and district khokimiyats, mahalla activists, and members of the wider public.
Speakers at the event highlighted the priority attention being given in the country to the development of the tourism sector, ongoing reforms aimed at improving tourism infrastructure, and the opportunities to enhance the economic potential and attractiveness of territories through the development of tourist mahallas.
According to the plan, more than 20 guest houses will be established in the mahalla. This will allow visitors to experience the national way of life more closely and become acquainted with the traditions of Uzbek hospitality.
