The forum, organized in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, is expected to bring together not only representatives of the UN but also other influential international organizations, including Interpol, the European Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the World Customs Organization, as well as heads of relevant agencies from nearly 50 countries and around 500 international experts. This level of international participation confirms Uzbekistan’s growing role as a reliable venue for events of global scale.
The forum will address issues such as global and regional trends in illicit drug trafficking, youth drug prevention, the development of treatment, rehabilitation, and social reintegration systems, as well as the application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
A Youth Summit will also be held, focusing on promoting a healthy lifestyle and enhancing youth engagement.
