During the visit, the international creative team is exploring the country’s cultural and historical heritage, traveling across the Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm, and Kashkadarya regions, as well as visiting key landmarks in the city of Tashkent, including historical sites and modern architectural complexes.
As part of the press tour, participants are producing unique photographic materials and media content that reflect Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, and the modern development of its cities. Based on these materials, a photo album and a photography exhibition are planned, along with the release of two Spanish-language podcasts to be published on various platforms, including Amazon Music and Spotify.
Special attention is being given to the study of the historical legacy of photography in the region: the creative team is working with archival materials related to the travels of the 19th-century French photographer Paul Nadar in Turkestan. The results of this research will form the basis of a scientific article and a series of publications in specialized journals on the region’s visual narratives.
The project aims to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential among Spanish and European audiences, popularize historical, cultural, and gastronomic tourism, and strengthen the country’s image as an attractive destination for travel and cultural initiatives.
