An open dialogue with tour operators and representatives of the tourism sector was held in Tashkent

The meeting took place at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent. It was attended by representatives of ministries and government agencies, as well as more than 130 entrepreneurs working in the tourism sector — including tour operators and travel agents, organizations providing tourist transport services, artisans, and representatives of retail and entertainment facilities, recreational parks, and insurance companies.
During the event, the results and achievements of Tashkent’s tourism sector for 2025 were presented in detail. In particular, participants were introduced to implemented projects aimed at increasing tourist flow to the city, creating new tourist routes, improving infrastructure, and enhancing service quality.
At the same time, priority tasks for 2026 were at the center of discussions. These include the modernization of tourism infrastructure, the introduction of modern service standards, the creation of new jobs, and the promotion of employment.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs put forward practical proposals and initiatives. In particular, issues such as simplifying licensing procedures, improving transport logistics, creating a comfortable environment for tourists, and widely promoting national products and craftsmanship were raised. Relevant authorities identified tasks to support these initiatives and implement them in practice.
The open dialogue contributes to further strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors, eliminating existing barriers, and increasing the competitiveness of the tourism services market.
