Chinese delegation explores tourism projects in Syrdarya

During the visit, an infotour was organized for the delegation, providing the guests with a detailed introduction to the region’s tourism potential, ongoing projects, and promising areas for cooperation.
In particular, they visited a site on the bank of the Syrdarya River, where a historical-themed park, “Battle in the Mud” (Loy Jangi), is planned to be constructed on an area of 75 hectares. They also familiarized themselves with modern tourism projects in the region.
This project is of special significance, as it aims to develop modern tourism infrastructure in the region, create new jobs, and increase both domestic and inbound tourism.
During the project presentation, the deputy hokim of the region and the Head of the Tourism Department provided detailed information on the ongoing construction work, project implementation stages, and its economic and social importance.
The delegation also visited the Ravon Arena recreation area in the Syrdarya district, where they observed the progress of construction work for the first stage of the project.
The next stop of the infotour was the Saykhunabad district, where the guests were introduced to a tourism project implemented by “Fazilat Group”.
In addition, the delegation visited a natural spring in the Saykhunabad district and received a detailed briefing on its ecological and tourism potential. Officials presented comprehensive information about landscaping works around the spring and plans to transform it into a modern recreation area and ecotourism site.
Furthermore, the guests learned about a new water production enterprise being launched in the region. It was noted that the enterprise is being established using modern technologies and will contribute to the production of high-quality drinking water, creation of new jobs, and regional economic development.
On the following day, the delegation visited the Gulistan district. Early in the morning, the guests took a walk along the pedestrian path of the Dustlik Canal, enjoying the scenic nature and fresh atmosphere.
They then reviewed areas designated for prospective tourism projects. Representatives of the relevant authorities provided detailed information on the development of tourism infrastructure, existing opportunities, and investment-attractive directions.
The delegation highly appreciated the region’s tourism potential and shared their suggestions and opinions on prospective projects.
This visit played an important role in further expanding bilateral cooperation, strengthening investment ties, and implementing new tourism projects.
