One such example was the visit of a delegation from the Russian Federation, which took place from March 18 to 26, 2026. The delegation included entrepreneurs who are members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Moscow Region, as well as representatives of the “Support for Women Entrepreneurs” organization.
The delegation’s itinerary covered Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent, allowing participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of Uzbekistan’s tourism and economic potential.
Particular attention was paid to industrial site visits. The delegation visited “UZ TRUCK AND BUS MOTORS” in Samarkand, “Texnopark” in Tashkent, as well as several small manufacturing enterprises, including sewing workshops and producers of paints, coatings, and construction materials. Participants were able to observe production processes, modern technologies, and business practices.
In addition, the guests visited world-famous historical and architectural landmarks and became acquainted with the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The development of industrial tourism is being carried out within the framework of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to introduce new types of tourism and effectively use the countryʼs tourism potential,” which provides for the creation of conditions for integrating industrial sites into tourism routes and expanding the range of tourism services.
Thus, the visit of the delegation served as a clear example of the practical development of this new area of tourism and confirmed the interest of foreign business circles in Uzbekistan as a promising platform for cooperation and the exchange of experience.
