Foundation stone laid for a new tourism complex in Namangan region

The project is being implemented on an area of 600 hectares and is expected to become a major modern center for recreation and tourism with well-developed infrastructure.
On the eve of the nationwide celebration of Navruz, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Arashan Resort complex was held in a festive atmosphere.
The event was attended by representatives of the regional khokimiyat, leaders of state and public organizations, community activists, respected elders, and members of the general public.
The khokim of Namangan Region, Sh. Abdurazzokov, congratulated those present on the Navruz holiday and spoke about the significance of the new tourism project.
It was noted that once fully operational, the complex will be able to accommodate up to 2,500 tourists ежедневно, serve up to 912,000 visitors annually, and create more than 2,000 new jobs.
In addition, the project предусматривает the development of eco-tourism zones, infrastructure for extreme and mountain tourism, gastronomic centers, cultural and leisure facilities, as well as recreational and wellness areas.
Plans include the construction of theme parks, ski complexes, a zipline, restaurants and cafés, an open-air cinema, an eco-market, children’s and sports площадки, as well as thermal water pools.
Notably, the project is being implemented in cooperation with the reputable Japanese company NGEA – Nippon Global Education and Assessment, which will ensure its compliance with international standards.
During the foundation stone ceremony, in accordance with tradition, a ritual sacrifice was performed, and elders gave their blessing for the successful implementation of the project.
The festive atmosphere of the event was enhanced by performances from popular artists and music stars.
