The parties discussed a wide range of issues aimed at expanding cooperation between tour operators of the two countries and increasing mutual tourist flows.
The Uzbek side expressed interest in studying Russian support measures for tour operators that are currently being successfully implemented at both the federal and industry levels. The delegation requested expert recommendations on the possibility of adapting these practices to stimulate tour operators working with the Central Asian destination.
During the negotiations, the Uzbek side proposed that ATOR serve as an expert platform for collecting feedback from Russian tour operators. Representatives of the delegation requested information on additional conditions that could encourage more active engagement of the Russian tourism business with the Uzbek destination. Potential topics for analysis include logistics, awareness of regional tourism opportunities, pricing issues, and the development of new travel routes.
Special attention during the meeting was given to the need to intensify direct contacts between tour operators of the two countries. The parties agreed to explore the possibility of holding regular B2B events, including workshops, business networking exchanges, and roadshows in various regions of Russia.
Participants in the negotiations expressed confidence that cooperation with ATOR would help establish a systematic dialogue with the professional community and create the most favorable conditions for the development of bilateral tourism relations.
