As part of the visit, an open dialogue was organized with the participation of representatives of the regional khokimiyat, relevant agencies and organizations, as well as more than 45 local entrepreneurs working in the tourism sector — including tour operators, hotel owners, public catering businesses, transport service providers, and managers of recreation areas and cultural institutions.
During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the tourism projects implemented in 2025, the positive results achieved, and the current state of the industry in the Fergana Region. Priority areas for 2026–2027 were also discussed, including further improvement of tourism infrastructure, the development of new tourism products and routes, increasing tourist flows, and supporting private entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.
Following the meeting, based on the proposals and initiatives put forward by entrepreneurs, specific targeted plans and proposals were developed for the implementation of promising projects aimed at developing tourism in the Fergana Region.
It is expected that the consistent implementation of these initiatives will contribute to increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region, creating new jobs, and raising the incomes of the local population.
