The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the visit, investment projects aimed at developing tourism infrastructure, creating new tourist routes, improving the quality of services provided, and increasing the flow of domestic and foreign tourists were presented.

Detailed information was also provided about the ongoing work to create new tourism products based on the effective use of the region’s natural, historical, and cultural potential.

The Chairman of the Committee was accompanied by the Deputy Khokim of the Fergana region, Kh.Akhmedov, who gave a detailed overview of the construction projects being implemented in the region, the development of modern hotels and recreation areas, and the measures being taken to promote pilgrimage tourism.

It was noted that in recent years extensive work has been carried out in the region to modernize tourism infrastructure, establish new service facilities, and create comfortable conditions for tourists.

As part of the visit, responsible officials were given specific instructions and recommendations regarding the implementation of new investment projects, the study of existing problems in the sector, and the adoption of measures to address them.

It is expected that this visit will contribute to the more effective use of the tourism potential of the Fergana region, enhance its tourist attractiveness, create new jobs, and stimulate economic activity in the region.
