New initiatives to develop tourism in the Andijan region have been proposed

As part of the visit, an open dialogue was held with representatives of the Andijan regional khokimiyat, relevant ministries and agencies, and more than 80 entrepreneurs, including tour operators, representatives of the hotel and restaurant business, transport service companies, and managers of recreation areas and cultural institutions.
During the open dialogue, projects implemented in the Andijan region in 2025 and the results achieved were presented. Priority tasks for 2026 were also reviewed, including the development of the region’s tourism infrastructure, the creation of new tourist routes and products, increasing the flow of foreign and domestic tourists, and supporting entrepreneurial activity in the tourism sector.
Following the meeting, based on the proposals and initiatives expressed, targeted plans for new projects aimed at developing tourism in the Andijan region were formulated.
