International seminar-training on improving service quality and marketing in Samarkand’s tourist villages

The event was held at the campus of the International Tourism Academy in Samarkand. During the seminar, JICA expert Asami Kinoshita and participants discussed issues related to the accelerated development of the region’s tourism potential, increasing the number of domestic and international tourists, as well as improving service quality and enhancing marketing strategies in tourist villages.
Participants were introduced to modern approaches in tourism, customer service practices, and innovative marketing methods. As part of the program, they took part in practical sessions, studying real-life examples of improving tourism services.
In addition, participants received recommendations on identifying the potential of their villages and effectively promoting tourism sites, which contributes to the growth of the region’s tourism potential and the creation of additional income sources for the local population.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates. Such events serve as an important platform not only for improving the quality of tourism services but also for developing local tourism and introducing international best practices.
