Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A. Akkulov, delivered a presentation for the heads of foreign diplomatic missions on the tasks set by the President for the tourism industry, followed by an exchange of views.

In addition, specific measures were defined to strengthen cooperation between the Tourism Committee and diplomatic missions to expand tourism potential, promote the Uzbekistan brand at international tourism exhibitions and fairs, and improve the quality of tourist routes and services.

During the meeting, ambassadors emphasized the need to implement innovative methods for promoting the country’s historical, cultural, and natural heritage, as well as to establish direct cooperation with foreign investors and tour operators. They also shared recommendations for developing tourism infrastructure, enhancing hotel and transport services, and creating comfortable conditions for international visitors.

As a result of the meeting, all participants agreed to work systematically and in coordination to fulfill the set objectives in the tourism sector, consistently strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences to promote Uzbekistan on the international tourism map as a more competitive and attractive destination.
