According to the Resolution, the “Fergana” tourist and recreational zone will be established for a period of 30 years over an area of 2,396 hectares, with the possibility of extending its operation in the future.
In Fergana District, the necessary infrastructure will be developed to transform the “Vodil” agrotourism cluster, which specializes in raspberry cultivation, into a tourist destination. With the involvement of prospective entrepreneurs, lightweight service facilities will be organized within the raspberry plantations to accommodate visitors.
In 2026–2027, in the Yazyavan District around the Central Fergana Reservoir (“Markaziy Fargona”), jobs will be created through the development of tourism services.
Additionally, in the “Sanoat” and “Khosilot” mahallas of Fergana District, raspberry plantations will be established to develop agrotourism, along with cold storage facilities and deep-processing workshops, based on best practices from foreign countries.
These initiatives are expected to strengthen tourism and agro-industrial cooperation in the region, support entrepreneurship, and increase employment opportunities for the local population.
